These terms govern your use of the Y2K Network website. Y2K Network is a software house based in the United States. Use this website in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
Website and product scope
This website provides information about Y2K Network, our products, and our open-source work. It does not provide accounts, process purchases, or enter you into a paid service agreement. Product descriptions are not a guarantee of availability, specific performance, or a commitment to deliver a feature by a particular date.
Individual products, subscriptions, and development engagements may have separate terms. Those terms govern the relevant offering. An inquiry through email does not by itself create a services agreement.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, or impersonate another person. Do not use our contact details to send spam, threats, or unlawful material. Ordinary browsing, linking, and lawful security research are not prohibited by these terms.
Content and open-source licenses
Except where a separate license applies, website content, branding, and original materials belong to Y2K Network or their respective owners. These terms do not grant permission to reuse our branding or imply our endorsement. Uses permitted by applicable law remain permitted.
Open-source software is governed by the license included in its repository, not by these website terms. A public repository is not automatically licensed for unrestricted reuse. Check the repository's license before using or distributing its code.
External services
Links may take you to GitHub, YouTube, or other independent services. We do not control those services, their availability, their content, or their terms and privacy practices. Review their policies before using them. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Email and submissions
The contact form prepares a draft in your email application; it does not send a message from this website. You decide whether to send it. Do not send passwords, payment details, or confidential material that requires a separate confidentiality agreement.
You retain ownership of material you send us. You permit us to use it as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry. Sending feedback does not obligate us to implement it or compensate you unless we separately agree.
Availability and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this informational website is provided as is and as available, without warranties of uninterrupted access, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We may correct, change, or remove website content. Nothing here replaces an express warranty or obligation in a separate agreement.
Limitations and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Y2K Network is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of this website, including lost profits or data. This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing waives mandatory consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the website changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Updates do not retroactively remove rights or obligations that applicable law protects. See our Privacy policy for information handling.
